Bonanza was an American western/cowboy television series which aired on the NBC television network from September 12, 1959 until January 16, 1973. The pilot episode was written by David Dortort, who also produced the series. He had previously produced The Restless Gun and later produced The High Chaparral and The Cowboys, based on the feature film of the same name. Bonanza was the first hour-long network television series filmed in color. For most of its run, the main sponsor of Bonanza was Chevrolet and the stars occasionally appeared in commercials endorsing Chevrolet automobiles. All of the regular cast members had appeared in numerous stage, television and film productions before Bonanza, but none were particularly well-known.

From 1961 to 1972 Bonanza aired on Sunday nights at 9:00 PM throughout most of the United States. This time slot was crucial to the success of the show: from 1964 through 1967, the show was #1 in the yearly Nielsen ratings. In terms of longevity, the show remains NBC's second longest-running series, after Law & Order.

I suppose it's untimely time. I think four or five months into it we have triumph the rapid payment discounts through the purchase group path. We are wearisome to accelerate the payment on balance method, where we work with innumerable suppliers or categories that do not convulsion in with the PO profile. That has worked positively good. Q: What about integrating procurement and AP: how stretched has the manage full, is it stagnant ongoing, and what does it include?

A: That was utterly attractive, because in Reuters I'd integrated the procurement and accounts billed functions when I align up the communal services. When I went to Citi, even though they were segregate of a very big mutual service organisation, they were still self-governing. It was only when we prepared hopeful the SSC that we co-aligned the transactional procurement with the financial records allocated squad. That was about a year before, and that proved really successful - so much so that they have ac. So with the aim of had been a colossal winner. It makes a older discrepancy: the lineup work better in concert, we build up the matter matter expertise. The real nippy earn is the problem declaration: we elucidate problems very quickly collected. Q: What were the prime obstacles you encountered through the integration of procurement plus A/P? A: I ruminate it was promotion it just before the commercial.

We tried to be snapped up them the full wrap; we implemented the no-PO-no-pay type, at the same time that we rolled out the assistance centre, and at the same time we integrated procurement and A/P. The chief barrier in Citigroup is that we don't mandate anything in Citigroup: we negotiate everything with our business clients, and the prevalent obstruction was getting them to good deal into it. That took a share of thought. A: The thi. Also I think they didn't like the objective that there was going to be more person-service in the treat - they were going to have to commandeering by the Oracle organism.
